Overview/Description of Service

We provide paging service to MTU faculty, staff & students through our partnership with Superior Spectrum and lease VHF alpha-numeric pagers for as low as $15.95 per month and numeric pagers for as low as $9.95 per month. These costs include the monthly cost of the paging service as well as the pager rental cost.

Batteries for the leased equipment can be obtained through the Telcom Customer Service Center, which is located in Room B24 of the EERC Building.

Pagers are available with local range, selected areas downstate, UP and/or WI, even selected areas state wide range.

To order pager service

• Send an on-line request from our web site: www.tc.mtu.edu or;
  
  
• Call 487-2000 or stop by the MTU Telcom Customer Service in Room B24 in the EERC basement for assistance or;
  
  
• Send an email message to telcom-request@mtu.edu with the following information:
  
  • Your name
  • Your campus address
  • Your campus phone number
  • Your home address
  • Your departmental account number (if applicable)
  • The type of paging service you are requesting
  • The complete description of services needed
