MTU Wideband is a 2-way interactive cable system used for delivering video across campus. The Wideband system is used on an as needed basis to deliver video between various classrooms, lecture halls, satellite facilities, performance venues and several other similar areas.

The MTU wideband system is also used to support the university’s Electronic Display System (EDS). See http://www.ets.mtu.edu/eds/index.html for more information on EDS.

Service is provided at no charge to approved university locations. Installation and connection is handled on a time and material basis.

Working in conjunction with Educational Technology Services, MTU Telecommunications Services will engineer the service delivery solutions with departments on an individual case basis.
