Campus Emergency Phones
 
 
Overview/Description

Emergency telephones are available for students or others who may find themselves in urgent need of help. Encased in a yellow box underneath a blue light, the telephones operate twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week. These phones are for emergency use only.

Where to find the Campus Emergency Phones
The telephones are installed on utility poles at the following locations:.

  • Intersection of Cliff Drive and U.S. 41 near Lot 10
  • People's Park near St. Albert the Great University Parish
  • Intersection of Clark Street and Seventh Avenue
  • Daniell Heights at the intersection of Division and Woodmar
  • Upper Daniell Heights storage building
  • East Wadsworth Hall loading dock
  • Fisher Hall north entrance
  • Lot 21 (commuter student parking) west walkway
  • Central Stores lakefront, southeast corner of building
  • Minerals and Materials Engineering (M&M) Building, north side
  • Noblet Forestry and Wood Products Building, southeast corner
  • Administration and Student Services, northeast vistibule
  • Walker ARts and Humanities Center, southwest vestibule
  • J.R. Van Pelt Library, northwest vestibule
  • Wadsworth Hall, the west end near Public Safety

How to Operate the Campus Emergency Phones
To operate the phones open the door of the yellow box and push the red button on the panel inside; you will be connected to the Public Safety department dispatcher. Tell the dispatcher your problem and he or she will send an officer to the scene.
