Playing Messages

When you access your voice mailbox to retrieve your messages, the system will first tell you how many messages you have. For example, you may hear "You have 2 new messages and 4 saved messages in your mailbox.")

To play your voicemail messages:

1. Enter your voice mailbox



2. Press P (the 7 key) to listen to your messages

Note: At any time during a message playback, you can:

• Press * to move back 5 seconds within a message
  


• Press # to move forward 5 seconds within a message.
  

When you have finished listening to a message, you can:

• Press P (the 7 key) to play the message again
  
  
• Press A (the 2 key) to answer the message
  

• Press G (the 4 key) to give the message to another user
  
  
• Press K (the 5 key) to keep the message.

Kept messages cannot be accessed until you have skipped through all of your unplayed messages.

• Press D (the 3 key) to discard the message.

If you accidentally discard a message, you can retrieve the message by immediately pressing *

• Press T (the 8 key) to skip to the top of the next message
  
  
• Press T I (the 8 key and the 4 key) to hear the time stamp
