MTUNet (Wired Data Network Connections)
Telcom develops, operates, and manages the campus network (MTUNet) and Internet access at Michigan Tech.
Resnet (Residence Life Network)
The Residence Life Network, more commonly known as Resnet, provides students living in the Residence Halls and the Michigan Tech Apartments with high speed access to electronic resources both on campus and around the world. Resnet is covered in the room and board costs for all campus residents and is supported by IT User Services.
Rovernet (Mobile Computing Network)
Rovernet is a mobile computing service available to all current students, faculty and staff of Michigan Technological University at no charge. Providing and supporting Rovernet is a joint effort of many university departments.
Lab Tools Network Service (for lab connections)
The Lab Tools Network Service enables MTUNet Direct Connections to be added to a Lab Access Group.
Domain Registrations
Telcom manages multiple sub domains in the MTU.EDU name space. System administrators should place requests for new domains with our office. Michigan Tech also hosts secondary name services for external institutions affiliated with the University.
